In Iași, the winter market stretches along Bulevardul Ștefan cel Mare și Sfânt, between the Palace of Culture and Piața Unirii, with wooden chalets, a Ferris wheel and the Children's Village. The festive lights are usually switched on on 1 December.
Not announced yet As of 31 October 2026, Iași City Hall had not published the dates, the organiser or the procedure for the chalets. Unofficial calendars give 1 December 2026 – 6 January 2027. Piața Unirii is undergoing refurbishment in 2026.
The chalets' opening hours have not been published. In 2025, the ice rink in Piața Unirii was open daily 08:00–22:00.
The market is held in public streets and squares; the sources do not mention an entry ticket.

Iași is a long way from Sibiu, but if you are planning a winter holiday in Transylvania, the market in the Grand Square (Piața Mare) is open from 13 November to 3 January, and Sibiu Airport has flights from several European cities.
