The workshops presented below were part of the 2025 edition’s programme. The workshop programme for the 2026 edition will be announced before the fair opens.

Every year, more than 4,000 children step into the magical world of Santa’s Workshop. This year we have prepared a wide range of creative activities that give the little ones the joy of working as a team, discovering their talents, and enjoying the festive atmosphere. The workshops are designed for children aged 5 to 9, and participants get to keep their small work of art, receive a certificate of achievement, and a group photo.

No online payment is required to make a booking. Payment is made only on the day of participation, at the Workshop.

For schools, kindergartens and organised groups: workshop participation takes place Monday to Friday, starting between 08:00 and 17:00 and lasting 40 minutes. Visits can only be made with a booking done online, using the dedicated form, subject to availability. Teachers will receive a certificate for taking part in extracurricular activities.

For the general public: Saturday and Sunday between 12:00 and 20:00, the workshops are open to all visitors without prior booking.

With small, colourful pieces of glass, children will create unique photo frames. The experience builds patience and attention to detail, letting them showcase their favourite photo in a personalised frame. Discover the magic of mosaic and create unforgettable memories.

Children will craft their very own Christmas elf and its tiny cottage. Each child builds an elf from natural materials and places it inside a little box turned into a storybook house. The activity sparks creativity, attention to detail and the joy of bringing a small figure to life.

Alongside the master craftsmen of MATS – the Sibiu Printing Workshop Museum, children will discover an old craft. They will see how simple materials are transformed, through water, motion and patience, into a textured sheet of paper which they will turn into a greeting card. They will feel the joy of working with their hands and learn about things made slowly, with care and imagination.

Each child will make their own “Tic Tac Toe” game in a personalised Christmas version. The activity encourages a playful spirit, patience and strategic thinking, inviting the whole family to rediscover the charm of time spent together.

Every plain glass bauble becomes a special ornament. Children learn to combine colours, add fine details, and express their creativity by exploring Christmas shapes and motifs.
