Santa's Workshop

Every year, over 4,000 children visit Santa’s Workshop. For this year’s edition, we have considered a wide range of proposals, in order to meet the desire of artistic, aesthetic and plastic manifestation of the little ones. Thus, we aimed to stimulate creative skills and abilities, giving children the opportunity to work in teams, in a festive environment, under the guidance of specialists, in Santa’s Workshop.

The workshops are aimed at children aged 5 to 9 . Participants will keep their little “artwork” and receive “qualification” diplomas and a group photo.

The cost of the workshops is 30 lei per participant and reservations are made for a minimum of 15 participants.

Teachers/educators will be issued with a certificate for participation in extracurricular activities.

For schools, kindergartens and organised groups: participation in the workshops is from Monday to Friday, starting between 08:00 and 17:00 and lasts 40 minutes. Visits are by online appointment only, using the special form, subject to availability.

For the public: Saturday and Sunday workshops are free and open to all visitors without prior appointment, Saturday from 13:00 – 20:00 and Sunday from 12:00 – 20:00.

The reservation system was activated on 26.10.2022 at 10:00.

Period: 14 - 20 November 2022

Using an ancient method, the little ones will create colourful candles and be introduced to the intricate craft of decorating wax shapes. This workshop develops children’s manual skills and encourages interaction. At the same time, the activity is also an exercise in patience, teaching the little ones to respect the algorithms needed to create a quality finished product.

Gingerbread is the epitome of sweet Christmas treats. Even the grown-ups remember with pleasure and nostalgia the sweet smell of homemade gingerbread at Christmas. Now it can look exactly as everyone imagines and wants it to, being painted and decorated by children in Santa’s Workshop. A nice and tasty souvenir for the children and a sweet memory for the parents. By participating in this workshop the little ones will learn about the spirit of Christmas and the tastes of this holiday.

Biscuit making workshop

Period: 28 November - 04 December 2022

With sweet dough, twisters, shapes and lots of imagination, children will make the tastiest and most beautiful biscuits. This workshop contributes to the development of creativity and skill, fixes hygiene skills and stimulates increased practical autonomy. Nurturing their innate playful and creative spirit through play, this workshop will instill in children the joy of cooking.

On the eve of the holidays we all want to decorate our home with the most beautiful decorations. Many of these objects, in different styles and colours, can be purchased in shops, but with some imagination and the right materials at hand, we can create some original, unique ones, where each child can put their personal touch.

We invite you to a workshop where, in a pleasant and relaxing atmosphere, we will learn how to make Christmas tree ornaments, which will be appreciated by those who will cross your doorstep at Christmas.

Pixel Art Decorations

Creative workshop using thermo-adhesive pieces

Period: 12 - 16 December 2022

Pixel Art is a unique combination of puzzle and goblin, taking features of both techniques and transforming them into a new and very fun creative technique! The little artists will create Christmas tree decorations from multi-coloured thermo-adhesive pieces, such as bunting, stars, angels, globes, bows or gifts, just a few examples of the wide range of options that the little ones can use to discover their new talents.

The Little Printer

Workshop to create Christmas cards using ancient methods

Period: 17 - 23 December 2022

The Little Typographer is a completely new and unique workshop, organised for the first time this year. Children will learn about the history of printing and how it evolved and see authentic printing presses dating back to the early 20th century. Moreover, using these presses they will create greeting cards using ancient techniques.
