In Arad, the Christmas market is held in Piața Catedralei and Parcul Reconcilierii, with wooden chalets, food trucks and concerts. In 2026 it opens on 14 November.

According to the regulations, the 2026 hours will be announced after the exhibitors have been selected. In 2025, the two official sources gave different hours (18:00–23:00 and 14:00–22:00 respectively).

On the A1 motorway, Arad is about three and a half hours from Sibiu. If you enter the country from the west, Sibiu is a natural stop on the way to Transylvania.
