In Baia Mare, the Christmas market is part of "Iarna Băimăreană". In 2026 it is held in Piața Libertății, in the Old Town, and for the first time in Parcul Mara, with the two areas linked by a little train and a trail of lights.
Confirmed by the organiser On 12 October 2026, the Local Council approved holding "Iarna Băimăreană" over this period. The fees and the auction for exhibitors were debated on 28 October; the result of the vote could not be found.

From Maramureș, the road to Sibiu goes through Cluj-Napoca. The market in the Grand Square (Piața Mare) is open from 13 November to 3 January.
