2026 edition

The Sibiu Christmas Fair returns in 2026 with a new edition, running from 13 November 2026 to 10 January 2027, continuing the tradition that has turned the city into an essential winter destination. Full details about the programme and attractions will be published soon.

As every year, Santa’s Workshop will remain a central attraction for children, and the whole staging is designed to create a complete and memorable experience.

About Sibiu Christmas Fair

The Christmas Fair in Sibiu is a cultural project initiated by the Office of the Social Attaché of the Austrian Embassy in Romania, Dr. h. c. Barbara Schöfnagel, in partnership with the municipality of Sibiu. Opened for the first time in 2007, Sibiu’s year as European Capital of Culture, the Christmas Fair has become known throughout the country for its scale and tradition.

The project is organized by the Events For Tourism Association in partnership with Sibiu City Council through Sibiu City Hall.
