Santa's Workshop is one of the most beloved attractions of the Sibiu Christmas Market, the place where the magic of the season takes shape in children's own hands. Set in the heart of the market, in the Grand Square, the workshop invites little ones to discover the joy of making things themselves, in a storybook setting.
Each edition brings creative activities on a different theme, all inspired by the spirit of Christmas: from making candles using traditional techniques and painting gingerbread, to baking biscuits, decorating baubles or crafting seasonal cards and ornaments. Every activity lasts around 40 minutes and is led, step by step, by Santa's attentive team of elves.
At the end of each session, the little makers head home with their very own "work of art" — an unforgettable keepsake from the Christmas Capital.
Year after year, thousands of children pass through Santa's Workshop, whether with their families or in groups organised by nurseries and schools. As places are limited and fill up fast, taking part requires booking online in advance.
