The Panoramic Wheel is one of the iconic attractions of the Sibiu Christmas Market, and the spot from which the city looks its most beautiful during the festive season. Standing roughly 22 metres tall and dressed in thousands of lights, the wheel towers over the Grand Square and has become, edition after edition, one of the most photographed symbols of the Christmas Capital.
An attraction for all ages, the Panoramic Wheel offers a unique perspective over the market: from above, the wooden stalls, the decorated tree, the ice rink and the lights that drape the historic façades of the Grand Square come together like a picture from a storybook. It's the perfect moment for memorable photos, and for taking in Sibiu's historic centre as few ever get to see it.
